The Cleveland Cutting Boards Story
As a life long, avid wood worker, Michael Lazusky started making cutting boards as a hobby in his garage to give for birthday, holiday and wedding gifts. Soon, the word was out on the high quality and durability of his work. He started providing cutting boards to home chefs, professional chefs, catering companies as well as a variety of restaurants. Currently, Michael has cutting boards in use hundreds, if not thousands of kitchens throughout the United States and Europe as well.
He prides himself on quality over quantity. Unlike other companies, who mass produce cutting boards using large machines, Cleveland Cutting board still makes their boards by hand. Each board will be constructed, sanded and oiled by hand; no detail will be overlooked.

Our goal at the Cleveland Cutting Board Company is to create and deliver a product that will exceed every customer’s expectations. We strive to ensure that every chef, standing over one of our boards, will be confident in its ability to withstand the abuse that a professional grade cutting board should be able to withstand.

Materials: Sourced from responsible, locally harvested, domestic hard woods in all of our stock cutting boards. We use FDA approved adhesives as well as FDA approved, food grade mineral oil.
Finger grooves: Every cutting board comes with oversized finger grooves on each end to ensure safe handling,
Non-slip Feet: Non-slip & non-marring feet provide every chef a safe & sturdy work surface on any table or countertop.
Stock Sizes: We carry stock sizes 12”x12”, 12”x18” and 18”x24” (1.5” thick) boards in Maple, Cherry and Walnut to fit most common chef's needs to ensure fast delivery.
Custom sizes and materials: Because each cutting board is hand-crafted, exotic woods like Purple Heart and Paduak, are available to meet your special needs.
Custom Laser Engraving: We can make each board unique to your business, but laser engraving your logo, your slogan, or virtually anything you can think of.
